Luxurious Outdoor Shower - Part 2 [Framing & Siding]

Luxurious Outdoor Shower - Part 2 [Framing & Siding].jpg

This is the 2nd part of the Luxurious Outdoor Shower and in this instructable you'll see: How I made the "Framing" & the "Siding", [the wooden framework with the posts, the beams & the wall]. The length of each post is 200cm & the length of each timber for the wall is 180cm.

Firstly, cut the posts that will be placed in each corner, to be 20cm higher than the height of the wall. In this case 2m each post.

After that, cut the timbers that will be used for the wall, (at the height you have already calculated), which is 20 cm lower than the height of the posts we cut before. In this case it is 1.80m.

Now cut some beams in half, to use them between the posts, so that you can stabilize the wall later.

Once you have sanded and painted all the wood you are going to use for the construction, we are ready for the installation.

Level the posts, mark them and place them one by one.

At this point, I had to cut the marble, in order to place the post on the wall.

Measure and cut a timber equally to the lowest distance between the two posts and place it at the upper part.

Make sure that the connection of the two timbers in the corner is exactly like this.

After you have made the whole framework, we are ready to install the wall.

Putty all nail holes and let it dry for a while.

Now, sand all the points you have puttied, with a soft sandpaper.

Paint the points you have sanded and wipe right after with a cloth.
