MY FIRST INSTRUCTABLE!!!!!!! Improvised Coal/Charcoal Forge

All together.jpg
MY FIRST INSTRUCTABLE!!!!!!! This is a forge made from some old and some modern, recycled / used metal parts. This forge is not limited to specific design as I added or took away parts as I saw fit.

Materials

Tools.jpg
scrap.jpg
2-4 Brake Discs ( Very useful as either Firepot, Anvil, and / or Lid)
A Fan / Bellows or Vacuum cleaner engine I used a fan although a more DIRECT AIR SOURCE is better*
A stand anything heavy duty, NOT FLAMMABLE , and STURDY will work. I used A frame of some unknown machine and a 1/4" thick plate of steel with a hole in the middle
Water to quench / cool the glowing Steel.
A Metal bucket for the water
A Hammer
Blacksmiths Tongs/ Vise Grips
Metal chisel I used some kind of wedge/ an Axe head another blade like thing and a railroad spike
Fire Poker I used a rusty Door hinge
COAL and or CHARCOAL
METAL STOCK ( I used a file, steel rods and bars are also acceptable)
A vise

Safety
Heavy and or insulated leather or fireproof gloves
Safety goggles
WATER
Firstaid kit
A Phone just in case

*More air = hotter fire
