We designed a magic wand for children to play with. The magic wand should make noise on command.

Supplies

3D printing materials, Adafruit playground express, wooden handle, battery pack, tape, and hot glue.

Print the Top and Bottom Star

Using a 3D printer, create the top and bottom star from Thingiverse. Download and bring it to Tinkercad and when finished download as an STL file. Then bring the file to Makerbot and save as a .makerbot file. Next, transfer to a flash drive and print.

Print the Mount

Using the same process as Step 1, print the mount for the inside of the star.

Attach the Bottom and Top Star to the Wand

Once you have all the pieces printed, attach the bottom and top star together with tape with the mount and CPX inside.

Attach Wooden Stick to the Star

Then, attach the wooden stick to the star with hot glue. Don't hot glue stars together because the CPX is inside the stars.

Battery Pack
