Make Pre-packaged Ramen Taste Homemade in Less Than 10 Minutes
This is an easy way to make any pre-packaged ramen taste amazing!
Supplies
- 1 pack of ramen
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 egg
- Kamaboko (Japanese fish cake)

Add 500 ml water (unless stated otherwise), the butter (helps reduce the saltiness of the base), and the ramen base into a pot. Turn to high heat. At the same time boil an egg. Medium is best, about 7 minutes. I use an egg timer.
When the ramen base is at a rapid boil, add the ramen and gently break it apart. Cook for 3 minutes.
While the ramen is cooking, cut 3 thin slices of kamaboko, 1 green onion (the green onion helps make the ramen taste fresher), and cut the egg.
Add the kamaboko, egg, and green onions to the top.
