Make Your Dog a Painter!
This is a tutorial on how to make your dog a painter. This look is an abstract galaxy.
Supplies
- Ziploc Bag (that fits over the canvas)
- Peanut Butter (if your dog doesn't like peanut butter use cheese sauce or vanilla ice cream) IF USING PEANUT BUTTER MAKE SURE IT DOES NOT CONTAIN XYLITOL!
- XYLITOL IS TOXIC TO DOGS
Canvas
Paint (paint used in order listed in step 2)
- News paper or towel
- Your dog as the painter
Step 1: Prepairing the Canvas for the Dog
Supplies
Ziploc Bag (that fits over the canvas)
MAKE Sure that bag is large enough before moving to instructions
Peanut Butter (if your dog doesn't like peanut butter use cheese sauce or vanilla ice cream)
IF USING PEANUT BUTTER MAKE SURE IT DOES NOT CONTAIN XYLITOL TOXIC TO DOGS
Instructions
Spread peanut butter or other substitute over Ziploc Bag
set aside
Step 2: Preparing the Actual Canvas
Supplies
- Canvas
- Paint
- Newspaper or towel
Instructions
Use what ever colors of paint you want
This is how to get the abstract galaxy look
This is the paint I used in Order
Apple Barrel Black, Admiral Blue, Folk Art Extreme Glitter Robins Egg Blue, Apple Barrel Bright Blue,
Apple Barrel Turquoise, Delta Tahiti Blue, Apple Barrel Deep Purple, Folk Art Metallic Purple,
Apple Barrel Neon Purple, Apple Barrel Bright Magenta, Apple Barrel Cameo Pink, Apple Barrel Neon Pink,
Folk Art Extreme Glitter Pink,
Newspaper or towel put the canvas on before painting to prevent any mess!
Using the canvas spread paint darkest to light repeat using each color lastly go over with 1st color again for me it was Apple Barrel Black
Optional Using painter tape to write out your dogs name then putting paint on
Step 3: Put Canvas in Ziploc Bag
Put Canvas in Ziploc Bag seal it
put a new piece of newspaper or towel under to make sure no mess will be made
Give your dog the Ziploc Bag to lick

Let Dry
Sign your dogs name on the back with the date
optional use paint and lightly press dogs paw print on the back
