Make Your Own Quibbler Magazine

IMG_3382.jpg

Hey everyone, this is my Instructable on making your very own Quibbler! The Quibbler is a magazine which features in the book and movie series Harry Potter. Xenophilius Lovegood and Luna Lovegood (now Luna Scamander) are both contributors to this magazine. It is really easy to make, and won't take you long. It has amazing results that kids and adults alike will love. You could use it as a prop or decoration at a party, or just to keep. Enjoy!:)

What You'll Need

Here are a list of items of which you will need:

  • A colour printer (and a lot of ink)
  • Paper/glossy paper
  • Stapler (the finished product is quite thick so I recommend a long armed stapler)
  • Glue/doubled sided option on your printer
  • PDF viewer or PowerPoint (your computer should automatically view PDFs anyway)
  • About 45 minutes, depending if you print double-sided

You're now ready to start!

Print Pages

In PowerPoint and PDF I have gathered the pages of January 2011's Quibbler. Print them out as usual, with glossy paper or plain printer A4 paper, double sided or not.

The first one below, named 'Quibbler' is the PowerPoint and the PDF is just below it. From there, print out your pages.

Page Assembly

If you have printed in double sided, skip this step:)

If not, check your pages are in the right order, then glue your pages together using pritt stick or PVA glue. Allow it to dry.

Stapling Together

Staple the pages together using a long-armed stapler. If you're using a normal stapler, I recommend stapling it in the same spot at the front and at the back for security.I stapled mine in three different spots along the edge.

Done!
