For best results, please follow these guidelines.

Resolution:

For a 4" x 6" print, the image resolution should be 640 x 480 pixels minimum.

For a 5" x 7" print, the image resolution should be 1024 x 768 pixels minimum.

For an 8" x 10" print, the image resolution should be 1536 x 1024 pixels minimum.

For a 16" x 20" print, the image resolution should be 1600 x 1200 pixels minimum.

For a 20" x 30" print, the image resolution should be 1600 x 1200 pixels minimum.

Lighting: Clear, properly exposed, color images are best. Try to limit shadows and high contrast, especially in faces. High contrast photos will result in high contrast image with greater variation of sculptural relief.

Poses and Expressions: The subject’s face should be clear and in focus. For best results, make sure subject is facing camera and that eyes and facial expression are clearly visible.

Distance: Avoid images that are small and distant. For best results, select images in which subjects are clearly in foreground.

Note: The printed tile you receive will be like a low relief sculpture. The lightest parts of your image will be the highest parts of the relief, and the darkest parts will be the set back.

Results may vary based on photo quality. Please follow guidelines.

You will first need to find or create a photo for your celadon selfie tile. The image file size must be below 2mb or your will see an error message. When you upload your image the dark areas in the picture will be engraved 3mm inside the tile,and the light areas will remain the same height.

Next just click on the "Choose File" Button and pick the image of choice!

Your image will appear slightly shorter than the tiles top surface. Use the scale % tool to adjust your image to the desired size.

You can also move your image left/right or up/down within the region on the top surface of your tile.

This step is easy! Just click the "Add to Cart" button on the right and follow the process to order your Custom celadon selfie tile!

Shapeways will then 3D print your custom tile in gloss celadon green and it should arrive in about 20 days worldwide! After you Custom tile arrives take a picture of the finished tile, the image used and share your experience!
