Make a USB Switch

Here presented instructable will guide you to the step by step instructions to make your own DIY USB Switch.

This USB Switch will take the power from USB and will power on the Relay.

1. 4 pin connector

2. BAT 85 Diode

3. 100uF Capacitor

4. 1N4148 Diode

5. 5v Relay

6. 2 pin connector

Presented here is the circuit Diagram for the USB Switch.

Step 1

Place the 4 pin connector for the USB connection on the breadboard.

We will take the voltatge from the first and last pin of the connector.

Place the BAT-85 Diode in such a condition that the positive terminal of the diode will be connected to the first pin of the connector.

Place the 100uF capacitor in such a way that the positive terminal of the capacitor will be connected to the negative terminal of diode and the neagtive terminal of the capacitor to the last pin of the connector.

Now, Connect 1N4148 in such a way that its positive terminal is connected to the positive terminal of the Capacitor and the negative terminal of diode to the last pin of the connector.

Now Connect the connector for the output of the relay. Fro the positive terminal of the capacitor and the last pin of the connector.
