This is a dagger made from a wooden strip, that looks like a real one but its basically a model of dagger and really good to play around with.

This is really simple and anyone can make it very easily.

The design of this dagger is inspired from the series "Kurulus Osman".

Supplies

This project can be made using easily available materials:-

• Wooden Strip (I used a wooden scale)

• Glitter sheet

• Cardboard

• Poster paint (Silver)

• Black Insulation tape

• Glue

Cutting the Wooden Strip

Just use something sharp, like a utility cutter or a knife to make this shape of wooden strip.

Fixing Another Piece of Wood

Screenshot (127).png

Cut out another small piece of wood as shown and fix it to the rear end using glue such as hot glue or super glue.

Making the Guards

Draw the guards shape on the dagger using a pencil. Then Stick two small wood pieces on the sides as shown.

Making Cardboard Handle

Cut out the shapes from cardboard as shown and stick them onto the handle using glue.

Sticking Glitter Sheet

Take some strips of glitter sheet and stick it around the handle as shown. Also make two more pieces of sheet of the above shown shape, but don't stick them for now. Will do that in next steps.

Covering the Handle With Tape

Now we take some insulation tape of black color and roll it on the handle.

Sticking the Remaining Glitter Sheet

Now we Stick the pieces of glitter sheet made before. Also stick some small square shaped pieces for more aesthetic look.

Painting

Now paint the remaining part of dagger using silver colored poster paints or water colors. After the paint is dried, you can also use a pencil to give it some shine.

Playing With It!

The Dagger is now ready! You can play around with it, like shown in movies, etc. You can stab a cardboard box, or aim and throw at it. Just make sure not to hit any animals or people.
