Make a Stop Motion Video in Movie Maker

In this instructable I will show you how to make a stop motion video in Movie Maker. It is easy and doesn't take much time. If you have any questions or want another instructable with more specific features in Movie Maker please comment.

The first thing you have to do is take the pictures. When you make a stop motion video you are recording a video one frame at a time. You have to move the figure or figures a little bit at a time and take a picture after each small movement. All of these pictures will be combined into the frames of a video.

Importing the Pictures

After you have all of your pictures you have to import them into Movie Maker.

- To import your pictures into Movie Maker you first have to click on Add videos and photos
-Then you have to select the pictures you want (if you hold Ctrl you can click on multiple pictures)
-Then click on Open

Editing the Pictures Into a Video

-To edit the pictures first press Ctrl A on the keyboard to select all of the pictures
-Then click on the edit tab on the top or the screen
-Then you have to change the duration of the pictures. The duration should be between 0.03 and 0.1,it will change depending on how many pictures you took for one second of your video, you will have to experiment to get the perfect speed.

Saving the Video

-To save the Windows Movie Maker file as a WAV file click on the blue tab in the upper left of the screen
-Then move the cursor over "Save Movie"
-Then click on "For Computer"
-Name the file and click on save
