Make an Iron Wire Blow Dart

If you wonder how I make the cheap wire darts and want to try making them yourself, you are in the right place. These darts are faster to make then the paper cone darts, but you will need a way to cut wire.
These darts are more then enough to pierce cardboard, be careful using them.
Supplies

Scissors, Wire clipper, Iron wire, cotton wool, Dart Gauge (optional)
Cut Iron Wire

Cut the iron wire into pieces each a little more then twice the length of the final dart.
Unroll and Cut Cotton Wool

Unroll the cotton will and cut out a square 1/2 inch by 1 inch wide.
Optional: Fit Them Into Dart Guage

Fit the cotton into a short piece of thicker PVC to ensure they aren't too tight in your final blowgun.
In this case, as I hadn't made these darts in a long time I mistakenly cut out twice as much cotton as I needed. That would have been too tight to blow through the blowgun.
Trim Off Excess Cotton

If you cut out too much like I did, otherwise skip this step.
Bend Wire Around Cotton

Bend the wire around the cotton piece.
Twist Wire

Twist the wire to hold it in place, keep twisting till you are near the tip.
Finish the Dart

It should finally look like this. Keep the two prongs at the end straight.
Make or Order More

These darts were designed for people who complained that my paper cone darts were too expensive. My paper cone darts are expensive because of the excessive time it takes to make them. These darts were designed to faster and easier for me to make.
They are also faster and easier for you to make, assuming you have a wire clipper at hand.
If you don't want to invest in a wire snipper or other things, you can always order them from me here:
