Make Your Own Cheez-it Crackers!

Have you ever wanted to make your own Cheez-it crackers? It seems like it would be very hard and time consuming.
However that's not true, they can be made very easily and with as few as 3 ingredients.

These wonderfully delicious crackers can also be made Gluten free by substituting gluten free flour for the all-purpose flour and they taste just as good, if not better. They are much healthier than real Cheez-it crackers. You will love these!

Ingredients

You only need four ingredients:
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup cubed butter
2-3 tablespoons water

Optional:
1 teaspoon Salt

Preheat oven to 375 degrees fahrenheit.
Grease a large cookie sheet.

Add Ingredients to Food Processor

The first thing you'll do is add all the ingredients, except for the water, to the food processor.
You'll now pulse it until it resembles a crumbly mixture.

Adding Water

You're going to want to transfer the mixture to a bowl. Add the water 1 tablespoon at a time, while making it into a ball.
It should hold together and not be  too crumbly, if it's still really crumbly add water.

Roll Out Dough

Roll the dough out in between two sheets of wax paper until it reaches desired thickness.

Cut Out

Cut into 1" by 1" squares, then lay them out on the greased cookie sheet.

Bake and Enjoy!

Bake them at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 to 18 minutes. Let them cool for two minutes. 
You are now done enjoy!
