Take your creative reuse beyond the play room and into the garden with this quick and easy hanging planter box.
We’ve used yogurt containers, some packing strap and Makedo parts available from mymakedo.com.

Find

Source yogurt containers or other weather proof materials from around your home. You will also need string or strapping material to hang your herb containers.

To allow drainage for your herb containers, use the point end of the Makedo Safe-saw and punch 6 holes on the bottom of each container.

On the front of the container, punch a hole near the top. This is where you will connect one end of your string.

Connect

Connect the string to the container using Makedo Re-clips.

Repeat

Repeat steps 1-3 on the second container and connect it to the other end of the string using Makedo Re-clips.

Your Hanging Herb Garden is complete. Create diffferent pots for different herbs with other found materials.

Fill with soil, plant some herbs and hang your Herb Garden over your fence. Ensure that the pots are equal in weight so that the Herb Garden balances.
