Making Aromatherapy Characters With Soap
The smell of soap makes us feel fresh, therefore the fragrance can be used as an arometherapi for our room, but not so good if only stored with the shape just like that, so we're going to make it look good to be on display at our table, we're going to create a character with smells good.
Supplies
you need this :
- Soap
- cutter
- carve tool
- layout
Making a Layout
I will made the SquidWard for this project, you can use any different Character who do you like.
resize the layout adjust the size with soap.
cut the layout according to its shape.
Paste the layout onto the soap, add a little water to the surface of the soap so that the paper sticks
Cutting
at this stage you need to cut the soap according to the layout shape.
make a rough shape with a cut spacing.
Carve
After the shape of the soap matches the layout, then we will carve the soap, from the previous rough shape, we will make a curve on each side of the soap piece.
start by cutting from the left or right side of the soap and take a look at the sample images of the characters made from the left or right side
take a times , cut it a little bit to follow the shape of the character that we made with the carving tool.
after the character is formed it will look rough, you can smooth it by rubbing a blunt engraving tool on all soap surfaces
Finish
after the character is finished you can display it with other decorations on your desk, the aroma released from the soap will make you feel fresh while working at your desk.
Thankyou,
