Marble Swirl Cupcakes

Marble Cupcakes

Marble cake is the go to cake flavor when I can't decide between chocolate or vanilla. I'm sharing with you one of my top secret recipes. These have been a favorite for all who have tried them for years now. They're the perfect combination of moist vanilla and chocolate cake. I had to finish these off in the style of my favorite ice cream cone, vanilla and chocolate swirl with jimmy's (chocolate sprinkles). Feel free to get creative and have fun with this recipe!

1 1/2 c flour

1/2 c cocoa powder

Make the marble effect by adding both batters into the cupcake tin one at a time then swirling with a toothpick. I went with a layer of chocolate, then vanilla and finished with chocolate again.

Bake at 350 degrees for 17 minutes. The house will smell like cake heaven and those cakes should be perfectly golden and moist. Allow to fully cool.

Marble Swirl

In a large piping bag: Use a large star piping tip, then fill half of it with vanilla buttercream and half with chocolate frosting. Push both frosting's down toward the tip. Pipe a marble swirl onto each cupcake and top with chocolate jimmy's.
