Mask Making

12.jpg

A Mask is made to learn more about the mask making techniques using clay.

I chose to create a mask inspired by Japanese culture because I find the intricate designs and symbolism behind Japanese masks fascinating. Many masks in Japanese traditions, such as Noh or Kabuki theater masks, carry deep meanings, representing various emotions, spirits, or characters. I wanted to explore that aspect of cultural expression and bring it to life through my own design. The mask allows me to blend both art and storytelling, which I think is really powerful.
