Math/ Music Sign

My client is my algebra teacher. He has really inspired me to do my project on him because we are really alike and he allows me to be myself in his class without judgement. His problem was he didn't have anything on his walls, so he wanted at least something for his walls to add a little creativity. He wanted others to know that math was actually taught in that classroom. So my solution was to make a sign for others to know that math was really taught in that room. i wanted something that really related to him. I asked him when i interviewed him what his favorite color is and his favorite activities. He replied that he liked black and blue and that he really liked music. So then that's when the ideas started coming to mind....

create a new project in Tinkercad

select and drag a cube from the sidebar. you are going to shrink it down so it is flat. Then change the color so it is black. Then you are going to pull it so it looks like a rectangle. It should be 5 mm thick. It should be 98 mm long by 37 mm high

You are going to go to the search bar in the sidebar and type in headphone, drag the headphones to the board. The headphone are going to be standing up, so you are going to drag it to a 90 degree angle so it is laying down on the board. then you are doing to drag the headphone down so it is not so high off the "ground", It should be at -4. Configure the headphones so it fits the base . It should be 26 mm high, and 29 mm long. Then drag the image onto the base. Change the color to light blue.

This is the fun part! You can use your own creativity and make the "sound of music" however you want. You are going to click the down arrow where it originally says "basic shapes". You should see a heading that says "design starters" that's where your going to find most of the numbers. but take whatever number and letters relating to math and drag it out onto the playing field or board. You are going to shrink it down to 4.60 in length and 4.63 in height. The shrink it so it is 2 mm in thickness. Looking at the little triangle pull it up so till it says 4. then drag the number/ letter to the base beside the headphones. With the numbers and letters, you can use as many as u want and make them as big and small and in whichever direction. Make sure the color stays the same from the headphones which mine is blue. You can rotate them to create that "flow of music".

Once you are done with this part you are going to create a name tag. go back to basic shapes and drag out the block that says "text". You are going to type where it says text and name it or say whatever you want. It should be 35 mm in length and 3.89 in height. then you are going to use the triangle and drag it down to 0.00 and then drag the block to the bottom middle of the base. and change the color to blue.

you are going to use the cylinder block and and drag it out to the board. You are going to configure it to be 2 mm length and 4 mm in height. Use the triangle drag it up so it is 2 and drag it the top corner of the base. Then using your mouse, click and drag it so it highlights the base and the small cylinder. then up at the top it should look like a circle forming into a square or in which is the group button. This should create a hole in the base for it to hang up. Then repeat again for the other side.

You are done and it is that easy!!
