Matonics Database
Driven by a business mind, I’ve been wanted to restart my online business (Matonics) for some time, and now that my 18th birthday is quickly approaching, I thought it would be the perfect time to begin creating management tools and resources for the business’ re-launch. In my previous business endeavours, I created a rather over-complicated spreadsheet to hold information about products, their profitability and other information. This time, I would like to utilise a database to do these functions. This database would be a lot easier to use than a spreadsheet, as i can create forms for different maintenance tasks, create queries to find information a product, and have the ability to log sales easily.
Planning
Time management – This project is preparation for the re-launch of matonics, so I’d like to have it fully functional by mid-January. This will give me plenty time to add new products to the database, perform additional testing and customise it to my needs.
Budget – This task will be completely digital, and I won’t need to spend money on extra resources of components.
