Medicine Bottle Matchbook

5.jpg
This is a useful little match case I came up with for a recent hiking trip. It was used primarily for matches - all my other stuff was stowed elsewhere in my pack. My friend thought it was cool so I decided to share!

What to Use

Ingredients, so to say:

Matches (dip the heads in wax to waterproof / scratch the wax off when you need to use them)

Striking surface for the matches (if not using strike-anywhere type)

Superglue

Duct tape

Medicine bottle

Striking Surface

Cut a suitable portion of the striking surface off of a matchbox and superglue it to the cap of the medicine bottle.

Duct Tape

Take a sizable portion of duct tape and wrap it around the Rx bottle. Make sure it's wrapped even and tight.

You've got your striking surface secured to the cap of the bottle, and some handy duct tape should you need some. Feel free to throw other small items in with the matches!
