Medusa Costume With Armor Made From Craft Foam

Materials needed for the armor bustier:

1. Bustier or bra

2. Roll of Craft Foam

3. Plasti Dip

4. Metallic Spray Paint

5. Glue gun/glue sticks

Step One: Cut Out a Large Piece of Craft Foam to Fit Under Breasts and Around Sides.

Step Two: Hot Glue That Piece of Craft Foam Right Under the Breast Cups.

Step Three: Cut a LOT of Small Pieces of Craft Foam to Look Like Scales.

Step Four: Hot Glue the Craft Foam Scales Starting at the Bottom of the Cups and Working Your Way Up.

Step 5: Use a Retracted Ball Point Pen to Engrave Snake Scales on the Underbust/belly of Foam.

Step 6: Spray the Foam Armor With at Least 5 Coats of Plasti Dip.

Step 7: Once Sealed, Spray With Metallic Spray Paint.

Step 8: Skirt Was Quickly Sewn From a Green Reptilian Fabric From Joann.

Step 9: the Snake Crown

Hot glue dollar store snakes to a head band. Spray with metallic spray paint.

Step 10: Super Glue Random Rubber Snakes to Hair Clips.

Step 11: Makeup!

I used mostly Kryolan Aquacolor. Makeup snake scales were made by applying makeup through a wig cap and tulle.
