Message Art Piece for Dressing Up a Mother's Day Plant

This is a simple and quick piece of art that you can make using Tinkercad to decorate your Mother's Day plants.

She will forgive you for not answering calls or texts, when she sees that you dressed up a quickly bought store plant with something you "made yourself". She will think back to the days when you would bring home artwork and crafts for Mother's Day, and all will be forgiven.

You will definitely earn "favorite child" this Mother's Day.

First, I designed in Tinkercad a quick and small design. Mom spelled with a heart as the letter O. It was super easy and fast to design this in Tinkercad.

Then I played around with the height of the heart. I wanted to make it stand out a little bit so I made the height of the heart more than the height of the two M's. I made sure that the M Heart M all touched so the print would come out in one piece.

Next, I sliced it using Ultimaker Cura The estimated build time was 60 minutes.

I used a Creality Ender 3 v2 printer. I chose to use red PLA as red is a great color. It will pop and catch the eye as it is sticking out of a Mother's Day plant or any vase that you might have around the house.

The print took only 60 minutes as predicted.

I was very pleased with the final product. I did not have any living plants outside (I am in the North) so I positioned it in order to give you an idea of what it will look like.

It is a great piece of message art to dress up a store bought plant with something you made from the heart!

It will remind her of the the stuff you would bring home as a craft for Mother's Day.
