Microsoft Word Vs. Google Docs

If you ever experience technical difficulties or personal problems with Microsoft Word such as being able to type documents for school, work, and just general leisure. Here is what to expect.

Computer or Laptop

Open up a Microsoft Word document and if there is a message that comes across the screen saying, 'Your subscription has expired' and a blank document that is grayed out with no access to it. Close out of it.

NOTE: This part here will increase anticipation and difficulty because one might not know an alternative method to move forward.

Launch your web browser either Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or Firefox.

Access your Google Email Account (Gmail) or Yahoo! Mail and begin to sign in with your email address and password.

Once you are logged in your email account, located at the top of the page shows 9 dots that represent the shape of a square. With your cursor, click on the square box and find Docs and open the app.

Attached are template documents that are available on Google Docs for a variety of uses. This goes from scrolling through with the up and down arrows to decide which one fits your style so that you can begin typing your information.

Insert a USB flash drive into your laptop or computer before saving your document. Go back to the top of the original document screen where it says, 'Untitled document'. This is where you will add a title name and hit enter to save and then select file to choose which way you want to download it.

NOTE: It will save to your file folder first but you are then able to drag the document and drop it in your USB flash drive.

The qualities of having Google Docs will benefit in great ways in case anything should happen while utilizing Microsoft Word and frustration creeps in. Because with Docs it will serve as a backup plan to save time on figuring out how important documents will get typed, done, and saved.
