Microwave Lemon Cake
This microwave cake is the best out of all the microwave cakes I've ever had! It tastes absolutely wonderful. The lemon gives it a great flavor. It's hard to believe it was made in less than five minutes! I was really wanting something lemon, that was easy to make and tasted amazing. I experimented and came out with this.
Topped with a freshly sliced lemon or whipped cream will add to the taste making it explode with flavor.
You'll truly love this recipe!
Ingredients
- 3 Tablespoons Butter
- 1 Teaspoon Lemon Extract
- 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
- 1 Tablespoon Milk
- 2 Tablespoons Whisked Egg
- 2 Tablespoons Honey
- 3 Tablespoon Sugar
- 1/2 Teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1/2 Cup Flour
And any toppings you would like for this amazing cake!
Wet Ingredients
Mix all of the wet ingredients together in a small mixing bowl. The wet ingredients are the butter, lemon extract, lemon juice, milk, whisked egg, and honey.
It's easier to mix it if you melt the butter.
Dry Ingredients
Add the dry ingredients to the wet mix. The dry ingredients are the sugar, flour, and baking soda.
It helps to mix the dry ingredients together before adding them to the wet mix. However, it's not needed.
Mix
Mix everything together very well. Make sure everything is well combined. It should be a smooth texture.
Microwave
Fill a mug three-quarters of the way with the batter. Put it in the microwave for one minute. When it's about to overflow, stop it until it goes back down and then start it again.
Dessert Time!
Enjoy it in the mug or take it out and enjoy it on a plate. If you want to devour it on a plate, it should plop right out when you flip the mug over. If it doesn't plop out use a butter knife to get it out of the mug. Enjoy!
