Mile High Chocolate Cream Pie

This is a super easy, and almost healthy, really really yummy chocolate cream pie.
I make it for x-mas every year, and lately I have to make at least 3 for there to be any leftovers. It is a huge hit!

It's insanely easy. Here's what you'll need:
Graham Cracker Crust. (don't buy the generic, they're bad!)
Skim Milk
1 Box of Dream Whip (found under the pudding at the grocery store)
1 Box of Instant, Sugar Free, Chocolate pudding.
1 Box of Instant, Sugar Free, Butterscotch pudding.
Vanilla Extract
cool whip

And most important, an electric mixer. If you try to do this by hand, you're arm might fall off, or you'll have a very short pie. If you don't have a mixer, you can always attatch a wisk to you screw gun.

Mix It.

Put one cup of cold milk, two envelopes of dream whip and 1 tsp of vanilla extract in the bowl. Mix it on high for about 6 minutes, until you get really stiff peaks. Scrape bowl occasionally, and make sure you don't have any lumps at the bottom.

Mix Some More.

Now add the two pudding packets, and 1 3/4 cups milk to the bowl. Mix on slow for a minute until combined, then mix on high for two minutes, scraping the bowl.

I have experimented with this pie, and I have found the secret it to use 1 butterscotch and 1 chocolate. 2 chocolate tastes suprisingly not very chocolatly, and butterscotch alone is weird, but the combination makes for a really interesting, and really delicious complex flavor. The dream whip box reccomends putting in some instant coffee, BAD IDEA. It's gross.

Chill Out

Pour/scoop the pie filling into the shell. (Take the plastic off the shell first!!!)
And now for the hard part. Put it in the fridge and wait!

It's hard, but you can do it! Let it sit in the fridge for a few hours, the longer the better. You want the pie to set.

Frost It.

Now it's time to put the cool whip on. Spread the whole container on top. Use a spatula or knife to smooth it out and make it look good.

And there you have it. Mile high chocolate cream pie. Eat and enjoy.

Okay, so it's only 4 inches high, but hey, that's pretty good for chocolate cream pie. You should see some of the gelatinous, weird, gooey cream pies I've been served.

Now I've tried to put things on the top to look nice. Sprinkles, chocolate syrup, chocolate shavings, cookie crumbs, etc. They all give the pie a weird texture or crunch. I say leave it alone. It will get eaten up so fast, no one will notice.

And this pie isn't even that bad for you. There is very little fat or sugar. Sure, it's full of chemicals, but hey, it's Christmas!!!
