Minecraft Roller Coaster
This is a roller coaster that can be built on any game. It uses rails, power rails, glass, quartz, wool for your "Cloud 9" sign on the ride and for your rainbow tunnel. it's quite simple to make so I'll do a quick guide on how to make it. Sorry if it's not explained very well. :)
1. Build a Glass Rectangle With Stairs Heading Up to the Top
The title mostly explains itself but I did do the very first and last layers of the rectangle with quartz. I also did chiseled quartz for the floor. The stairs and fairly simple but you cannot turn a rail and go up and the same time. If this doesn't make sense you'll understand once you start laying down rail. I only went up on the shorter sides of the rectangle to make the ride longer.
2. Put Down Your Cloud Nine Sign
I used blue wool for this step because it's the color of the sky and it looks nice. If you're in creative, This should be easy. However if you're in survival I recommend stacking up a pile of dirt of style your letters on the rectangle. A bucket of water might work but it could be more difficult.
3. Begin Your Rainbow Tunnel
I started at the top while building this and first made a one block wide pillar to figure out where my colors could go and they would be even. After that I went to the bottom of my pillar and started to build up, creating the tunnel. I made it wide with sunlight streaming through the top for light although you could do a stormy ride with a dark and tight tunnel.
4. Add a Bridge From the Glass Tunnel to the Rainbow Tunnel
I made a short bridge because the ride isn't really about the bridge, it's about the tunnel. Make it a few blocks before the wall so you don't go flying off the edge.
5. Put Tracks Down
Put tracks down where you land at the rainbow tunnel so you don't fall through the floor. It sounds silly, I know but there's a glitch where if you fall to fast you'll fall through the floor- On pocket edition at least...
6. Final Touches
Basically this any details, like signs or random blocks in the tunnel just for something to look at. Thanks for reading this! I built this on my own in about a day and the idea I came up with on my own. Bye! :)
