Design and print a cute mini CheeseMan :)

Quick and easy to do in Tinkercad

Make a whole cheese family!

Designing Your Cheese

Cheeseman1.png

Lets go into Tinkercad and select a triangle shape.

Stretch it out until it looks like a piece of cheese, mine was about 50mm long, 45mm wide and 6mm high but you can make it as big or small as you like.

Now we want to create lots of 'hole' spheres in different sizes. Create a sphere shape and click on the 'hole' option. Copy and paste this and change the sizes of each one as you go.

Place the spheres over the cheese shape move them up and down to create deep and shallow holes. When you are happy - group your triangle and your spheres to create some holey cheese.

Add a Cheesy Face

Now to create a face for your CheeseMan (or CheeseWoman)

Click on the scribble shape - a new window will appear.

Draw your face, I just did a simple smiley mouth and dot eyes.

Once you are happy click 'done' and resize your face to fit on your cheese.

Choose how high your face will be it needs to be a bit taller than your cheese - mine was 7mm

Group the cheese and face together - yay a smiley CheeseMan!

But hold on he has no arms or legs!

Arms and Legs

Cheeseman4.png

Lets give him some arms, legs and anything else you want to add - you could give him hair, a bag or a hat maybe?

Go back into scribble and draw an arm and click 'done'

Resize your arm to fit on your CheeseMan

Copy and paste this arm or draw a different one for the other side.

Now repeat the process for his legs - make sure they are relatively flat on the bottom otherwise he may not stand up once printed.

I made my Cheesman's arms and legs 5.5mm high, slightly shorter than the cheese.

Your CheeseMan is finished - let's export him as an stl, slice him and print him

Import your stl into your slicer

Slice your CheeseMan

I decided to change my filament just before the face to make the eyes and mouth stand out.
