Mini Loom

How to make a Fab Loom

I discover the fab loom while I was at Haystack Mountain School of Crafts and decided to improve it.

Based on Samantha Bittman’s mini loom design I made the Fab Loom stronger, bigger with the inter lockable rings for different style cones. You can extend the loom or modify the corn using template below or just last cut them as is.

Laser Cut All Parts

You will need

Access to a Laser Cutter (cuts 24″ x 12″ ) 24″wide x 12″height 1/8 thick plywood Laser cut all parts using the EPS file. Color Mapping Black: Cut all the way through. Red: Etching

Assemble the Base

Start with the base

Make sure the hooks faces inwards, towards each other.

Push the hook through the holes then push the hook inwards.

Assemble the Body & Legs

Assemble the Corn

Place the opening of the corn facing each other.

Place the rectangle lock around the two sides of the cone.
