Miniature Boomerang!

Everyone knows boomerangs are awesome. The thing is, they're hard to throw correctly, and you need a lot of space to throw them. But with this little cardboard boomerang, you get an easy-to-throw toy that you can use indoors!

1) A cereal box

2) Scissors

3) At least two fingers and a thumb on each of your hands

First, locate your scissors and cereal box. Then cut a section from the cereal box about the size of a note card.

Fold your card in half. Now draw a line on it, sort of like this.

Cut along the line, starting at the creased edge to form a chevron-like shape.

This is where your fingers come in handy (excuse the pun). Put your index and middle fingers underneath your boomerang with your thumbs on top. Begin to bend the sides back to form a gentle curve.

You're finished! Now you just need to learn how to make it fly.

Place the boomerang near the edge of a table. Now put your finger next to it and flick one side. The boomerang should spin through the air a few feet. With practice and minor adjustments to the wing curl, you can even make it turn and come back!
