Miniature Trash Can
This is a miniature trash can, I made it because it would be cute to have a desk trash instead of walking to the trash can. If you want to 3D print it then download the stl files below.
Supplies
I used Onshape to create a miniature trash can.
Base of the Can
To make the base, first I made a sketch on the front plane with the dimensions 0.492 inch (width) and 1 inch (height).
Revolve the Sketch
I revolved the face of the sketch with full round.
Shell the Revolve
After revolving the sketch, go to the top plane and shell with the thickness of 0.035 inch.
Fillet the Bottom
Fillet the bottom of the base with the radius of 0.05.
Sketching the Cap
For the cap, draw the rectangle to be 0.5 inch (width) and 0.1 inch (height) on the front plane.
Revolve the Cap
Just revolve the sketch by full.
Shell the Bottom
Shell the bottom side by so the thickness can be 0.01inch.
Sketching the Handle
For the miniature trash can handle, draw a center point rectangle on the face of the revolve with the dimensions 0.5 inch (width) and 0.05 inch (height).
Extrude the Handle
Extrude the sketch up with the depth of 0.1 inch.
Sketch of the Handle Opening
For the opening to hold the handle, make a center point rectangle with the height of 0.05 inch and the width of 0.35 inch.
Removing the Excess
Extrude and remove through all for the sketch.
Fillet the Top
For the top edge of the cap, fillet with the radius of 0.01 inch.
Fillet the Handle
For the handle, fillet all the edges that are exposed by the radius of 0.01 inch.
Put Together
Once put together, you have finished creating a miniature trash can.
