Mixed Media Watercolor/Prismacolor Snails

I made these little snails that can be used as bookmarks, notecards, wall art, or gifts!

140 Lb watercolor paper, masking tape, clipboard, watercolor paint, colored pencils, paint brush

The time lapse video shows my process for creating these snails!

Make sure to tape down your paper to some sort of board (I used masking tape and a clipboard), and to let your work dry between using watercolor and pencils. I find it easiest to lightly sketch your design on the paper before applying any watercolor. Enjoy!
