Mock Scope

alrighty, this is my little 5 minute project I made. It’s quite simple and easy (and inexpensive) to make. At the cost of functionality of course though. My mock scope is trijon acog style with a flashlight on top and a small magnificent glass as a lens (making it quite blurry). You can decorate it however you please. I recommend it’s used only for its stylish looks.

all you need as far as supplies go, are these.

Toilet paper tube (cardboard ones work best)

Duck tape

Flashlight (optional)

Magnifying glass(optional)

first things first. You’re going to need two cardboard tubes. Cut one in half. Then cut it diagonally. Attach this piece to the first unmodified tube to get a good trijon style look.

this step is optional. If you want a flashlight do this step. If not feel free to skip it. The first thing you must do if you want your flashlight is hot glue a small cheap flashlight to the top of your scope. Then take the other half of the cardboard tube you cut in step one and cut in diagonally as well. Place this on top of you flash light to give it some pretty awesome style! Duck tape the flash light to the tube for better hold.

for this step you want to take a small lens (magnifying or not) to the end of your scope. Pretty simple! Your now free to customize this however you want (I wrapped mine In Camo duct tape). I hope you enjoyed this little 5 minute project and I’ll be sure to add some more if you like this design.
