Take the Handle Off the Pistol
The Next step will show you how to do this
Get to Work
take the crosshead screw driver and start unscrewing the screws in the little holes on the gun.
but wait this is the most important part of the prosses put each screw into a bag right after
unscrewed and number the bag 1, 2, 3, etc. then take the tape and place it over the hole you unscrewed it from and number it to.
do this until all screw are in baggies or you have enough screws gone that you can lift the two pieces apart and detach the handle! to detach the handle when the pistol is split in two you just lift the handle up and there you go!
you also want to take of the cocking mechanism all you do is unscrew the screws on it the pull it apart after its out of the gun attach the two parts of the cocking mechanism together and throw away or save the handle put keep the cocking mechanism because you need that for later!

Start Preparing the Gun to Be Painted
since the gun is plastic you need to get your wax and grease remover and wet a paper towel with it and wipe the whole gun down and you need to get every knook and cranny because the spots you missed the paint wont stick. After that you need to put the masking paper over the butt stock the paper should end at the front of the scope holder
Painting the Gun
DO NOT PAINT THE AMMO CARTRIDGES OR THE COCKING MECHANISM BLACK!!!!
This part is the most important after you have the paper over the buttstock you need to take the gun with the pistol attachment and scope and paint them all black and I mean all of it except the butt stock or you could just paint them separately thats what I did and it worked out really well because you get everything painted
let it dry for about an hour then you take the masking paper off the buttstock and the grab the grey spray paint and put the masking paper over the front of the gun it should end right were the paper of the buttstock ended then you paint the buttstock grey
and while it drys after your done paint both the ammo cartridges and the Cocking Mechanism grey they should look like the pictures on the next 2 steps

The Cartridge
also the crylon spraypaint has a very sandy texture to it so you need to lightly sand it
The Cocking Mechanism
CONGRATS!!
Crongrats you are done but the bad part is that you cant play with it for a week becuase the paint has to dry all the way not just to the touch, you will know when it is ready to play with because when you touch the gun it will feel like and smell like no paint was there before and this is what it should look like
