My Finished MTVCribs project Eagle Eye View

Kitchen

My first step was to make the kitchen, where I used 2 different texture, 1.Checkers for the floor, 2. Marble for the counter top. I did not use any major tools for looks in the kitchen, just basic shapes.

Living Room

My next step was too make the living room, I used the boolean tool to subtract from the couch and chair to make the indents in them. I used the noise pattern for the carpet, and some other basic shapes for everything else like the tv and the table holding it.

Dining Room

This step took the longest, I used mesh editing to make the fork, just by making 3 prongs, and for the spoon I edited the sphere to fold in on itself then changed it to make it flat which I then grouped it to a rectangle to make a spoon. I used the same process for the plate as I did for the spoon just without making it smaller, and as well the bowl just keeping it taller. The chairs and table was just basic shapes put together.

Doorway

This step was by far the easiest introducing the door, which I linked a box to a cylinder so it would rotate around it, and used Boolean-subtract to make the doorway itself

Bedroom

For the carpet I used the noise pattern to make it look like carpet, and for the bed, cabinet, and closet I just used basic shapes put together.

Bathroom

This step I made the bathroom, I used the marble texture for the sink. For the sink and bathtub/shower I used boxes for each, I used a cylinder Boolean-subtract for the bathtub/shower, and for the sink I just used a box subtracting a sphere to make the indent. For the toilet I did the same thing as the bowl in the dining room just bigger attaching it to a long box behind it, the towel rack and mirror are just basic shapes.

Finale

In all I used a variety of tools to make my MTVCribs house.
