Music Room

My name is Christopher Bahena, and I am obsessed with music and all the different forms that you can listen to it. My favorite form is vinyl with the whole process being my favorite hobby. Buying a new vinyl, bringing it home to put good sleeves, clean the vinyl and just lay down and enjoy the music. This music room is my dream and what I've always wanted.

Here I started out knowing that I wanted huge windows and huge shelfs to store everything like the video's I've seen. Videos of huge collections, with bookshelf's filled to the brim with vinyl's, CDs, and cassettes. I started with more of a square shape but shifted to a more round design.

Then I started to make my design at a way bigger scale but realized that I wouldn't finish the project in time. So I ended up downsizing to allow for my dream to be a reality, using techniques to get the popsicle sticks to be put in different shapes it allowed for the end product. I think the hardest part was the curved walls that I had to figure out

Finally with help of some people that were good with cameras it allowed for the good photos. Also adding the last finishing touches like the environment and the details in the music room. This allowed for the final product and something I'm proud to show off.
