For my wives birthday I made a necklace hanger “painting” and later I made one for my own.  As a art teacher I thought the paintings of Modigliani where a good choice. I've always loved his works and the long necks he paints are a good symbol for the use as a necklace wall ornament. (could have chosen something from a  Manierists like El Greco  but I more liked these, being portraits).
I printed the pictures to the size of the bought ornamented frames, from which I removed the glass and, with use of Posterizer and glued them with a spray glue on the panel. I used varnish on the pictures and then I attached the metal hooks  I had lying around for my wives and the wooden knobs for mine. I tried to compose a bit of balance in the placement of them.
Apart for necklaces we use them for all sorts of hangers, bracelets and watches.
