Networking Drives
This is my 1st Instructable. If you have a network, you know that it can be a slow and boring process waiting for My Network Places to load. Then you have to find the folder you want. With this Instructable, you can quickly access them under My Computer! Once again, this is my first instructable so please dont be harsh on your comments. Thanks and enjoy!
Go to My Computer.
Go to your Desktop and click on My Computer.
Map the Drive
Click on the Tools menu at the top and then scroll down and click on Map Network Drive.
Selecting Your Location for the Drive
This screen should come up. Now I have some drives already in use so mine starts on V:, but you should start yours on Z: if possible. Then click browse and proceed to my next step.
Pick the Folder to Be Connected To
After you click the browse button, you should see this sreen. Maximize the mark beside My Network Places, then keep expanding them until you get to the drive you want, select it and hit ok.
Congratulations!
You should now have a working drive! Please leave a comment and then rate it... remember, this is my first Instructable with hopefully more to come!
