Nightstand with damaged TV

This table arose from the need for an innovative nightstand and also, I did not want to throw my old TV in the trash, because I know it would not be recycled in the correct way. For this bedside table we will need:

Wood Ribbons

Damaged tv board

Damaged tv screen

Drain pipes

Pipes for electrical installations

Colored paper

Screws

BEFORE STARTING you should know the following: you must discharge the electronic board that you are going to use, because the capacitors may still have an electrical charge and it can be very dangerous.

The cathode tube that has this type of screen is vacuum packed and if it bursts violently, it can explode, so you must treat it with great care

First we will take the drain pipe and measure 8 cm in length, in my case the pipe is 6.5 cm wide. In this way:

2- Now we will small 1 cm deep cuts at the top of each tube to be inserted as follows:

We take the damaged circuit board and make a hole in the center, the size of the pipe; the board must NOT be energized and we must also be careful not to puncture any capacitors.

Now we will cut three slats the size of the circuit board to later place under it. These three slats I got from a pallet. Then we screw the wood under the plate.

We cut the pipe for electrical installation into parts of 1 cm in length, we will cut 12.

After sanding and painting them, we will cut colored papers to place them inside the tubes like this:

We also drill the tubes that we cut before, to place the 1 cm tubes inside, like this:

We assemble the tower with the pipe and put the TV screen on top.
