No-Bake Peanut Butter Cup Pie
This No-bake Peanut Butter Cup Pie is an easy and quick pie your family and friends will love!
Supplies
Materials
Pie pan
Bowl(s)
Spoons/Spatula
Large Ziploc Bag
Cutting Board
Knife
Measuring Cups
Ingredients
24 Oreos
4oz Melted Butter
8oz Package of Cream Cheese
1/4 cup Granulated Sugar
1/2 cup of Peanut Butter
10-12 Reese's Peanut Butter Cups +
8oz Cool Whip +
+more for topping if choosing to decorate
Prepare the Crust
-For the Oreo crust, you will need Oreos and the melted butter.
- In the large Ziploc bag add 24 Oreos, seal, and crush the Oreos until finely ground. The finer the better.
*Using a jar or glass to roll over to Oreo’s will make this easier and speed up the process.
**If available, a food processor works great for this step.
-Once the Oreo’s are finely crushed, pour into a medium size bowl and add the melted butter
-Stir until combined
Add Crust Ingredients to Pan
-Add crust ingredients to a pie pan
-Dump Oreo-Butter mixture into a pie pan
-Spread the Oreo/Butter mixture evenly on the bottom and up the edges of the pan. Push into the edges of the pan so it is firmly packed, this ensures the crust will hold together better.
-Place in the fridge
Prepping for Pie Filling
-While the crust is in the fridge, we will start preparing the filling of the pie
-Taking the Reese’s and unwrap about 10-12 packages
-Cut the Reese’s into small pieces, set aside
Prepare Filling
-In a large bowl, add the cream cheese and sugar. Combine until smooth.
-Stir in Peanut Butter (You can add more or less depending on how much Peanut Butter flavor you prefer)
-Add Cool Whip and mix until smooth
-Mix in the cut Reese’s
Add FIlling to Prepared Crust
-Take the crust out of the fridge, and add the filling mixture
-Spread the mixture evenly within the pan
Decorate (Optional)
As far as topping for the pie, there are a few options:
-I bought a ready-to-go piping bag and put Cool Whip in it to decorate. I then added a border to the edge of the pie. I then added cut up Reese’s to the center.
-You can top with just cut up Reese’s without Cool Whip.
-You can also add a layer of Cool Whip over the top. Leaving it plain like that or add Reese’s to the top again.
Refridgerate
-After decorating is finished, place in the fridge for at least 2 hours before serving.
ENJOY :)
