No Envelope Letter

This instructable will show you how to fold a note or letter into an envelope itself. Requiring no glue or tape.

Supplies

Any standard sheet of paper with a ratio of 8.5x11 or longer.

Begin with a flat sheet of paper. If you are folding an actual note or letter begin with the text facing up. Folding the letter into the envelope is most easily done on a firm flat surface.

"Hot Dog" Fold the Paper in Half to create a center crease.This will be used as a reference through most of the instruction.

Unfold and fold the bottom right corner up until it lines up with the center crease from the previous step.

Repeat step 3 with the bottom left corner.

Repeat step 3 with the top left corner.

Repeat step 3 with the top right corner.

Fold the left half of the paper over itself until it lines up with the center crease from step 2.

Repeat step 7 with the right side of the paper.

Fold the bottom point up until it meets with the two side folds from steps 7 and 8.

Repeat step 9 with the top point of the paper.

Flip the paper over.

Fold what is roughly the bottom third up until it meets with the center point shown in the photo.

Fold the top half over the previous fold until the corners line up.

Tuck bottom right corner of the previous fold into the pocket left by the fold in step 12.

Repeat step 14 with the bottom left corner and it's done!

How to Open the Envelope

Hold the top two corners with one hand and pull the center tab down. After this it can easily be unfolded, add notes or whatever you want to write on it and refold into the envelope.
