Starter robot. It is lots of fun on a hard surface. No soldering required and can be built in minutes.

What's Needed:

Glue It Up.

Remove brush part from toothbrush.
Glue four paperclips at 12, 3, 6 and 9 o clock so to speak on the inside edge of the cup so that part of the paperclip extends above the edge of the cup. you will want to make sure they are all the same length so the cup is level when you stand it on the paper clips.
Let the glue dry..
Glue in the electric toothbrush.
Let the glue dry.

Time to Play.

Turn on the tooth brush and set it down on a hard surface. Watch it dance around. Cool!

In the works:
If you wanted a two directional movement you could upgrade this set up with a wire wrap circuit using an astable 555 circuit.
