Nuka Cola Cap Stash

I by no means am the first one to have made this project, I was initially inspired to do this project by HASARDU5' instructable, I have only made this as a test to see how well I can make an instructable on my own.

so, today for my first ever instructable I will show you how to make Nuka cola caps, the currency of the wasteland!, this is just like HASARDU5' article which I have already mentioned.

btw, sorry I will not have many pictures because I made these caps before I even had an Instructables account, but I will try to include photos and pictures.

1. black paint and water
2. paintbrush
3. adhesive printer paper
4. online Nuka cola labels (made by CC-catastr0phe on devianart)

if your caps are blank or not, you will still have to sand them, both to take away the shine, or if the caps are recycled, to take off the paint, just use medium grit sandpaper, after this, use a tack cloth to wipe away all of the metal dust from your caps, if you dont have a proper tack cloth then use any old dry rag

scale the labels to a size you like and print them out using that adhesive backed printer paper you have and then peel the backing off and stick them on, simple as that:)

this is basic, easy weathering, nothing fancy here.

take your black paint and water it down until it is the consistency of milk, but still dark enough that you can't see the surface underneath the puddle, now, taking your cap, cover the top label with the paint, then use a paper towel to dab most of the paint away, but leaving some dirty grimy spots, now with this paper, you have to be quick to wipe it away, or else it will make the image fade away, mine still faded a bit even when doing them so fast, but I liked the "old" look
