Supplies
Materials:
- Spray Paint (your choice or optional)
- Yard Sticks (6)
- Plastic bins (3)
- Yarn
- Hot Glue
- Scissors
- Decorations (optional)
Step 1- Spray Paint
Spray paint the yardsticks and the bins. Make sure they are all coated evenly, you can tape of sections with painters tape and do multiple colors/patterns.
Step 2: Glue Yardstickes
glue together the yard sticks in groups of three. Make them a triangular shape with one down the middle.
Step 3: Bins
Hot Glue the bottom bin to the sets of yardsticks. Then use string to reinforce. Do it in this order; bottom, top then middle. It is easiest to do it in this order to keep it stable while working. To do the string weave it through the spaces in the bins and around the yardsticks.
Step 4: Decorate
Hot glue decorations such as pom poms, trim, ribbon, etc. We added a string on the top that you can put clothes pins on for a cute and simple touch.
Step 5: Add Your Things
Organize all your classroom essentials in this simple and affordable stand.
