Getting Started

Making a Square

IMG_3282.JPG

- Take the bottom right corner and fold it so it is almost to the top left corner (about 2 inches away)

- Cut the top piece of paper off, so that when you unfold the paper it makes a square

Making a Smaller Square

- Fold your piece of paper in half so it makes a rectangle

- Turn your paper around so it is vertical, and then fold it in half so it makes a square

Making a Triangle

IMG_3287.JPG

 - Turn your piece of paper so that the openings are on the left side and bottom

 - Lift up the top flap so it is sticking up

 - Put your hand in the opening, take your other hand and push on the top of the flap

 - Then there should be a triangle looking shape

Making More Triangles

- Do that same step to the left flap

More Folding

 - Flip your paper around so the diamond shape is on the bottom, with the openings to the right

 - Take the bottom point and fold it up just to the line

 - Now flip your paper around so the diamond shape is at the top, with the opening on the left

 - Take the bottom point and fold it up just to the line

Finishing It Off

- Take your left little flap and fold it into the little triangle right above it

Doing It to the Other Side

IMG_3295.JPG

- Flip your paper over so that the shape you just made is under the top piece of paper

- The openings of the remaining flap of paper should be on the bottom and the right side

 - Lift up the flap so it is sticking up

 - Put your hand in the opening, take your other hand and push on the top of the flap

Blowing Up Your Balloon

- Look at the two pointy ends, and there should be a little hole on one of the ends

- Put your mouth to the hole, and gently blow up your paper

- Then your should have a balloon

- DON’T worry if yours doesn’t look perfect, my first one didn’t look that great
