This is how you can make an origami fox face which can act as a puppet.   You will need a large sheet of square paper, some surplus time (about 10-15 minutes) and that's pretty much it. (In fulfillment of the Bare Paint conductives initiative of May 21st at the Omaha Maker Group)

Step 1

Fold the square in half perfectly, then fold the folded piece in half again. Using the midpoint crease, fold the outer edges to align to the midpoint.

Placing your fingertip within, open back up to make a triangle on the top piece.  Press down to make a crease, then fold back to place on the other side of the folding.   Bring up the lower corners on each side and make another triangular crease to shape "ears" for the fox.   Fold another triangle that is longer to shape the ears to a point.   Perform this fold also on both sides of the Fox.

Step 3

Fold the "ears" over the blue part and press down, then crease.   You have only one more thing to do, and that is reveal the face of the fox.   Place your thumb and forefinger into both halves of the fox, and open up the face like you would a coin purse.
