Origami Pleated Apple
I have made an origami apple using pleated origami folding technique. I have made this to substitute for the tasty and sumptuous apples found in nature and I wanted to taste paper (just kidding) in that shape.
Supplies
- A4 sheet of paper.
- Printer
- Pair of Scissors
- Stapler/Glue - to stick the two ends of the sheet together.
Cut Out the Shape
- Cut out the rectangular shape.
- Fold along the horizontal lines in valley fold and along the curved lines in mountain fold.
- Use a scale if required to fold properly.
- Fix the two ends of the sheet the top and the bottom horizontal together with glue or stapler pin.
- Fold the shape using the creases together.
- Adjust the shape to give that of an apple, allow the folds to curve in a natural fashion.
Completed
Eat the final apple for some extra vitamins! (Don't eat it though, it is not right to eat paper).
