Owen Larison's Final Gym

Throughout this project I learned about the design process. The goal was to go through the design process and in the end you get to build sick gym! The goals for this project were to learn and go through the steps of designing things.

this gym is 800 square feet. it is two stories and i found an old warehouse plot of land that is perfect for the gym.i plan on knocking down the existing building and building a two story gym.

These are some of my rough sketches that i worked on because I was trying to stay open minded to different things to do on the gym! Finally decided on the second design but I made some changes I made it two story. I never did get to include the swimming pool though. I have lots of nice equipment though!

For the final step we designed the gym! I made the walls see through so everyone could see inside that's not the actual color of them! Over all the gym turned out great.

1.) When I started I made a big box and made a second box and cut a hole in it.

2.) Next a designed a desk, I made a big box and once again cut a hole in it to give it a desk shape.

3.) I made weights I designed one round weight and copied it like 25 time ad just adjusted the size for and color for different weights.

4.) I made benches and I made it very simple i got a long piece of metal for the bar and just like the desk I made the benches.

5.) For the last part I made the treadmills and bikes this was the hardest part by far because I needed to make it precise I did it small piece by small piece. After lots of work on one of them I finally got it where I wanted and I just copied it. Same with the treadmills. This was my design process gym project hope you enjoyed!
