PC Build

Many people use technology on a day to day basis. Whether it's at home playing games or at work using a computer. Computer building is a great way for you to get the exact specs you need for your personal needs. For myself, I wanted to stream/record and game at 120fps. I watched youtube videos on what parts would be needed to be able to stream and game and some light editing. When building a PC you should make sure you have all parts necessary before starting to build. For the CPU and GPU, I went with the Ryzen 5 3600 and the gtx 1660 super. This CPU and GPU is perfect for what I want to do with the computer which is gaming at 120fps and light editing/rendering. For the motherboard, I got the b550 phantom gaming. The RAM I got was corsair's vengeance 16GB 3200 speed. For storage, I got a 500GB m.2 SSD. To power the whole system, I got a 700w PSU. Everything went inside of the corsair 4000d airflow case. After a few weeks of using the PC, I would say this is a great build to start with to get into editing/streaming/gaming.

Starting With the Motherboard.

When you start to put together the first few parts of your new pc, it's best to start by putting everything but the gpu onto the motherboard. When I built my computer I started by putting the CPU in place on the motherboard and putting the cooler on it. This was very stressful because on the bottom of a CPU there is a ton of tiny little pins that connect it to the motherboard. If you bend/break even one, the whole entire pc might not work. Then I put the ram into the slots. This is a very simple step, just make sure you hear the click on both ends of the ram when you put it in place, otherwise, the pc will likely not show and video output. Luckily for me, there was a blinking red led that showed there was an error with the RAM. After that, I put the SSD in place on the motherboard. With these few parts installed, I then put the motherboard into the case with the few screws that come with the pc case.

GPU, Cables, and Finished Product.

At this point, the final thing to put onto the motherboard was the GPU. Everything has been pretty easy up to this point, but cables are definitely the hardest part about building a computer. It took me over an hour and a half to figure out the cables on my computer. It took me quite some time to figure out where the cables from the fans plug into the motherboard. The picture above is the finished build. Personally, I would say that I enjoyed building my first computer. I would recommend that you watch a few videos on how to build a computer before you build your own pc. YouTubers such as Techsource and Bitwit helped me a lot with building my own pc.
