PVC Pipe Flute

This is some information about how I made my flute out of a PVC pipe. Making this instrument, I felt very confused, because I was thinking of what I was going to do like what was I going to do first. But I soon figured out that all I needed to do was start with the look.

What You Need

PVC pipe (14 inch.)

Drill

In the Beginning

When I started, all I had was a pipe, then I started to wonder “ How would I start this?” So when I started, I just found the right size pipe, then I drilled at least 6-7 holes on the bottom, then one mouth whole towards the top. Eventually, it would look somewhat like a flute.

The After Look

When you start, you want to use science goggles when you drill the holes, in the PVC pipe. When you start with that, you are going to want to drill at least 6-7 holes so you can make different notes. Then, you are going to have to drill one more hole for your mouth, and you want the shape of that hole, to be in almost a oval shape. And if your mouth part has parts sticking out, then you might want to shave that down.
