This is the perfect thing to use for your brushes while you are painting. The lid of the container is what makes this work so well. It’s not only easy to snap open and closed but the two sides and holes allow you to keep your brushes sorted.

Supplies

Empty Parmesan cheese container, cool water, vinegar, dryer sheets or fabric softener, dirty paint brushes

Start by making sure that you clean the container good

You don’t have to decorate the outside but it makes them look nicer and more personalized. I decided to leave mine plain for now and plan on decorating it later.

Now you are ready to add your solution. I start by placing a couple dryer sheets in the bottom (but you can also use a little bit of fabric softener instead), this just keeps the bristles from drying hard. Then I add about a shot glass full of vinegar and finish filling it with cool water. You can use whatever solution you normally use if you prefer. Finally put the lid on and you are ready to go.
