This is an Instructable for a Basket that can be kept near the door of your apartment, on top of your refrigerator or any other place to hold your keys, and other stuff such as rubber bands etc. This project is also a key project for recycling and up cycling as it is completely made out of old newspapers. So, eventually helps us in reducing paper wastage.

Using the scissors, cut out strips of newspaper. There is no specific size requirement. It can be as random as it can be.

Preparing Strips for the Basket

Rolling the News Paper Strips for Paper Basket

In this step, we will roll the strips and stick each roll using clear cello tape. You can check out the video we've embed from our evangelist Suffian Suhail.

Sticking the Rolls Together

Sticking the Newspaper Rolls together to make basket

Once ou've made enough rolls, it's time to stick them up together and give them a shape of basket. As shown in the video, we have used Stanley Hot Glue Gun to stick all the rolls together.

Once you have stuck all the rolls together, it is time to give your paper basket, finishing touches As your rolls are already covered in clear tape, they are already waterproof. Now, you have to look for any gaps in between the rolls and fill them up with hot glue.
